have been consolidating my raw materials and so this weekend, I am going to complete all them mods I have in mind. watch this space (preparing for the firing squad comments as well )

yup the passenger side airbag cover. you got it?? boot light as well??



Unfortunately, no... got to spend the morning from 8am to 12pm behind the house...

a quick summary

1) number plates
2) sunstrip
3) brake drum derusting + painting
4) boot gas struts derusting and painting
5) brake drum "covers" (something useless that I will be trying on )
6) wheel arch derusting
7) underbody sealing
8) remounting halo rings
9) new mudflaps (black this time )

My goodness. that sounds like a lot of thigns to get done in a weekend, never mind in just 4 hours.

Hope it's not too cold up there for you elvin. Look forward to seeing the before and after pictures for each thing

in the morning it might be about 10 or 12 but its fine, the sun shines very brightly in the morning and you can actually see the "cold" vapours rising at the horizon. vevry beautiful sight... might take a photo when I am free

The underbody will take you all day!

I'd take a portable heater outside even if its just big enough to warm up your hands every 10 mins!

Hopefully the weather will be kind and it'll warm up a little but just be damp

If it's the one from the V reg, it will be a different colour to your dash. Apologies if it's a different one or you already know this but thought I would point it out.

going to spray it silver and incoperate a handle onto it thought I get it for the job and keep mine for spare . thanks for the reminder

Is it sensible to put handle on the dash in front of the passenger?

A handle would also make it look like there is something in there worth stealing.

Maybe look into one of those press-release things you get on cabinets, with a smaller version of the boot strut?

What are you going to house in there?

the handle will not be protruding so its fine. planning to dremel a gap and install a rod into it and a "cup" shaped groove (if you can picture it)



just going to be another compartment for Helen to dump her "miscellaneous" stuff ie used tissues.... food wrappers.... keeps the cabin tidy i think

The 306 without passenger airbag had an extra glovebox in a similar fashion. It worked well.

good luck how you get all the mods done!! ive got plenty to do this weekend aswell, sparco strut brace, omp lower brace, smoked side repeaters, sun strip, new special custom rocker cover, and then a bloody good clean!

Finished the following:

Sun Strip. not verey happy with the results as the sun strip itself was full of "crimps" causing some areas of the strip to be "bubbly"



notice te passengerside area... might have to buy a better quality one to refit it.

Next I mounted the new number plates. quite an easy job. just have to make sure the surfaces are clean and then use velcro to stick them on as per what most pumapeople memberes do.














After spending 2 hours in the freezing cold, I took both headlights into thr living room for sme maintanance. Basically I remounted and took a accessment of any possible damage which might have happened. discovered that the plastic power inverter module for the rings have melted and so I ripped the plastic off and installed the module again without the plastic. Might have to come up with a better design in future.





what I did here was to mount the ring onto the metal braket holding the convex lens in place. I removed the metal bracket/plating for the headlights as well. So after some fiddling with using 100/10 ethernet cables, I came up with this... not very neat I know but it works (will come up with a better design in future i hope)



So after wiring everything up we have the completed mod here :



the wires are not visible when the lights are on as they are not too thick to block or make a difference at all in the light output. So that all for today... Unfortunately, Tony@PS did not send me my locking wheel nut key and therefore I cannot do the rest of the mods I have been planning. Will procceed on to my mudflaps tomorrow morning hopefully

in a accident the dash my not stay dash shaped and this might then present a rather nasty metal spike as the hande deforms
