This is going to be a really girly explanation of what i think happens!!! lol
When I have been driving for about 40mins, if I stop at the lights and change into first gear, as i try to pull away the car starts really shaking as if its going to stall, I have to keep putting down the clutch and really revving it to make it move off.
It doesnt happen all the time after the car warms up, only on a few occassions, but it feels like its getting worse the more i drive it...
Hmm... Well it doesn't sound like a gearbox problem but that could be so many things. Once moving do the other gears all engage OK ?
If they do then the clutch is probably OK too. It sounds more like a fuelling or ignition problem. Given your other post I'm wondering if your throttle position sensor is packing up.
I'm sorry to say this but you need the help of an specialist and one that can have the car to play with for a bit, I can suggest but without the car a diagnosis is a bit hit and miss.
It's been a while since I lived in London (South Ealing) so I don't know a Puma specialist or someone I'd be really happy to take a car to. Can anyone else advise ?
