Toby and Lisa sprint a 1.7 Turbo Puma which is VERY competitive

well you'll get more work done your Puma if you try typing with 2 fingers !
Keep up the good work , should be a good build knowing you !
For everyones info , Neil has weighed every bit he removed ,,,it all goes in a plastic bag for weighing -no matter how small a part ! - has Linda found her bathroon scales yet ? ,,,I think he's been listening to a friend of ours who is very anal about parts fitted to his hillclimb 106 ,,I think the windscreen washer bottle is a small plastic "freebee"hair conditioner bottle that you find in hotels with a pipe stuck in it !!
Here's some onboard from his 106

- Neil , you don't have time to watch it as you've got a car to build !

Yes, I run to MSA rules and compete in some of the rounds of the ASWMC sprint championship. We run rear cage, did have a full cage fitted, but couldn't get my head with helmet inside - so it had to come out (I tried to reason with MSA to remove tiny bit of roof lining but they wouldn't have - even on the grounds of safety - stupid or what!) same went for cage door bars not allowed them as I would have had to remove a bit of door card - another safety feature lost...
Race battery, strip behind dash, remove sound insulation / deadening, underseal (another 5kg), cut out behind bumpers, door cards, seats, emission system, remove carpets, carbon bonnet / tailgate, lightweight 4 pot calipers, small lightweight discs, remove aircon, etc etc
I kept my internal door bars, a bit of door skin won't stop much in the event of a side impact.

Was your Puma not very rusty underneath?
Are your sprints on open grass/airfield type circuits?
You removed the cage for what you were doing, is it going to go back in?
