Your car is hanging out for frp arches. I feel this should be your next step. Looks really nice though love the diffusor and front bumper/splitter.

Combe Update

Car handled splendidly, tyres made shit loads of difference, i thought the rear was going to be quite slidey but it wasnt, nice and stable.

Need more power though, I always say this every time i go out but i do, most stuff im doing in the corners they realise and pull over to let me past but i cant get passed on the straights, was having a crack against a 306 gti 6, and again was wanting to come past in the corners, and to be fair he realised and pulled over but we were always dead level on the straights oh well it will come soon, and the car is perfect now for more power.

Vids, didnt get any, I did try but my camera turned off halfway through and didnt save anything i was only left with my lap times on my phone, 1.22.89 was my best, no idea if thats shit, good or crap, probably crap.

Did get some pics though and i think there is more to come from dave, car seemed to get a lot of interest on the stand actually which i was quite surprised about, and oddly i think a lot of faster stuff was scared to overtake me up the straights as i think they thought it was faster than it was

Brands you now have to have proper video mounts for them to let you out with a camera.
My Hague is no use now unless I get a solid mount for it.

Set about trying to sort the inner arches that were slicing into the tyres on hard cornering, luckily it hadnt gone more than a couple of mm into the tyre.

here what is was like, you can actually see the black mark where the tyre touched

Posted Image

folded it over with a large pair of pliers, this is also what they did with the frps having 17's im led to believe

from inside the engine bay

Though from the looks of mine it was done by bashing the seam with a lump hammer!
Have you painted po15 on the rest of your inner arch, looks like you might have.

On our race car they got around the problem that lip cutting into the tyre by "simply" removing 50mm of the lower part of the chassis leg, and then re-boxing it back in. Have you got access to a welder ?

It might be worth putting a cable tie around the front piston strut to work out how much suspension travel you have before running out (you will either bottom out on the bump stop or the tyre will hit the chassis). If and when the tyre hits the chassis its not good news and the suspension instantly goes solid rather than dampening out on the bump stop.
