Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO -What a Ride!:D

Sounds like it's up the spout, for the scren to be juddery then pack up. Repair costs may well outweigh the cost of replacement. Have you dropped it or anything recently?

As for Blackpool, it's only up the road from Manchester.

If it's been dropped you may have a damaged the printed circuit board, screen or maybe just have a loose connection, are you confident enough with small screwdrivers etc to open it up for a look, just to see if it's something that's dislodged?

After all, what have you got to lose, it doesn't work anyway.
