come up and see me...make me smile

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO -What a Ride!:D

Very un PC in this overly PC world he was, but some of his gags were funny.... not really my cup of tea but he had one thing going for him for sure ( I think !) and that was a love of Manchester City Football Club ....... !!!!
ex-owner of FRP 347 believe it is now R.I.P ! ...... now driving ....................... yes.... a Mondeo diesel. so per my daughter I am now Mondeo man, after Scoobies, BMW M5 etc etc .... ex-wife probably thinks how the not so mighty have fallen !!!

I'm no fan, but from what I know of him many of his gags were funny, and not all were un-PC either. Not that it justifies his work, but he was like my grandad i.e. of the era were "darkies" could be made fun of. He also had gags about fat people, mother in laws etc etc

I would equate it to bullying, i.e. he'd pick on someone for being different. To say that this action would be racist is incorrect IMHO. Racism is to have HATRED born from someones race... not to poke at 'em (fun for you, not for them).
