Hi peeps, just thought I'd share my delight of becoming a puma owner as of tomorrow. It's the millenium edition so I'm really impressed. I have been wanting one for years but never got around to owning one. Anyway I hope I can get to share my knowledge and become a pround member of here :)

Welcome to Pumapeople, and becoming the owner of a 'limited edition' (1000 ever made) Puma.

As with all 1.7's, check that the cambelt has been changed, as it's overdue.

come up and see me...make me smile

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO -What a Ride!:D

Just got mine yesterday, it is a 2000W 1.4 beautifully prepared as an endurance rally car, safety devices cage, AVO suspension, rally seats and harnesses,11 wheels and rally tyres, spotlamps, sump and tank guard, trip meter, uprated clutch, and flywheel, big brakes etc. £4k been spent on parts alone, hope to be entering a 12 car road rally next week, in red it looks very good, sold my MK2 Escort 1600 last week and a pal had the Puma for sale, it is a second car to my daily driver.
