Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImageI have been busy sorting an air box out for the race car. Space is tight with the Jenvey throttle bodies as they almost touch the bonnet. I will use a foam seal fastened to the bonnet to seal the air box and hopefully get some nice cool air to the engine.Posted Image

I like the extreme weight saving you have done on the engine... maybe you have gone a bit too far though ;)

Nice airbox / cold air feed - made out of ply by any chance ;)

Can't wait to see you out on track again next year!

Hi turby. The box behind the grill is ply which if you use the right stuff is very light and the top box is fibreglass which was a bugger to do but hopefully will be worth it. Can't wait to get back on track it's been to long now.

That looks really well mate, the space is too tight with my itb's as well so I'm in the process of sorting something very similar but a pre made carbon version. Love how you've made it yourself :)

Cheers Ryan, it does look a bit rough when you get close but did not want to add to much weight with filler and its only thin fibreglass so it will flex. Once the engine is fitted and i know everything is right i will do some work on the finish hopefully my brother will come good with a silicon hose and i need some new 40mm trumpets.
