I will consider ones of these for my spares pot as they are unpredictable to need replacing and price is favourable.

Do your ones have the longer cable for the FRP please?

Sorry do you mean the lambda extension?

It's the standard length they were fitted with. The extra length was given in the lambda extension so it could reach the bottom of the exhaust manifold.

Yeah I know what you mean. It wouldn't be the first time I've went to the Ford parts Dept with my tail between my legs grudgingly buying a part to keep me on the road i.e my £150 maf etc. Although I slag the Ford Parts Dept they do sell the best quality parts. That is not my argument. It's just the 4 price rises a year thats hard to take. The best one was the FRP front wishbone bushes £5 - £25 in one swoop. Last time I bought them was £65 for a pair.

I personally find that they are more temperamental on the Racing not sure why though. The Puma's drive like a pig when they go wrong and starts like a blip which is cause by the wrong signals sent to create the wrong fuel/air mixture. They then just deteriorate to the point people think you are a very eratic bad driver kangerooing all over the place.

Cheers

Ally

Please bear in mind if your car has a lambda fault and therefore not fuelling right it won't necessarily throw a lambda fault code. This is because it is still producing a reading albeit and the right one. I would imagine your car will run better fitting a fresh one.

Cheers

Last time I had one starting to go I had an oxygen fault code, this current one is way sicker so hopeful of similar showing when I test. But I know what you are saying.
Had shocking mpg at the weekend with out the fun of a track day.

Fault codes on the plugged in reader all point to the HEGO I think with P0131, P0171, P1131
Just got to fit one now :)
I used the Wiki on here to check the code descriptions.
I don't think it is this fuses F27 but will keep an open mind in case the sensor is not the fault.
