the clutch is pretty high on my puma and have been told they were designed this way for women drivers ....is there any truth in this ?

lol... what rubbish!...

you could argue the spring loading on the cover is quite light for this reason.... but i'm pretty sure, with a new clutch and release bearing the biting point would return to the normal lower position...

Well, that's a new one :wacko: As Chris said, a new clutch kit would sort the problem :)
