I cant decide on 16 or 17 inch alloys ja_stupid.gif

It will be lowered 30mm with Eibach springs, but from pics I've seen 16"s look a tad small, 17"s look a tad big

I really dont want to hurt the handling so its has to be 16"s, right ja_stupid.gif

:help:

I have the einbachs and it looks fine with 15's now. And I like the handling and ride as is now, wouldnt want it any harder or softer. I would go for the lowering first and then decide wether you need the wheels.

I put 17" super t's on my 1.7 and immediatly regretted it, my mate at work fitted the same to his car but in a 16" his car sat better and drove better

The 17's would probably look better, but the 16 would ride better. If you did get some 16.5's though, where you gonna get the tyres from? laugh.gif FRP wheels would look great on your car Phil. 8)

You'll still be left with the ride quality problem, a straight copy of suspension set up from the frp aint gonna sort that out either

From the pics I've seen in the album etc. 16" with a moderate lowering really does look the way to go for a Puma if you want to up the size.

You dont want to mess up the dynamics too much now do you??

Besides everyone tries to fit 17's dont they!

Common as muck. Almost getting like Venoms!

I got some 17" and some suspension sets. And some thinx on the rear side of the cat (dunno how to say it in english) smile.gif

The car IS hard, but (i wrote it already somewhere) the 17" are looking awesome. And the handling is a bit better than the original 15". IMHO. Think it's everyones own desicion if 15",16",17" or some 14" or 16.5" will put on smile.gif

It's not the size of the wheel, it's the height of the profile on the tyre that determines the harshness of the ride.

Aye, but to get a large profile tyre onto a 17" and then fit on a puma, you'd be back into 4X4 land

A 45 profile tyre is a good compromise. Just been looking at the new pics of the black puma in the album..... really missing my 17s at the moment. Wondering if I should just get them and have no money till the end of the month!!

Try 16s on the front and 17s on the back... best of both worlds and you can chnage them over whenever you like smile.gif cool2.gif
