Of the top of my head I can't recall what size members use on 16 rims but it is bound to be smaller on profile. That is the same width as the props? I think but best check the wiki out on wheels.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

I use this same wheels on my Puma, same size and ET.
The size of tyre recommended is 195x45xR16( i´m currently using this size).
Some members also tryed 205 size but unless you use spacers it will make contact in some cornerings.

As you all know i had trouble with my rear shock the other day, well my mate got it wrong lol..

Ive been looking at other threads and noticed a few builds when it comes to the shocks..

As ford upgraded the shocks just after mine, would it be better to upgrade mine, or would it be to much work..

If yes, what would i need to do it i.e.. all the rear end, same year puma, any cutting.. all things like that..

My puma is 1998 sreg with the falk style and im looking the upgrade to the eye style..

Don't quote me on it but think it entails replacing the rear axle

Hi
You need to change the complete rear axle.
Please note that your car originally has a 10mm spacer behind the rear drums.
With the change to a later axle, it´s no longer needed because Ford alterate the lenght of then no longer using that old spacer.
In mine, dispite its an eye mount shock, I also increase rear lengh with a s12mm spacer. Some, in extreme use 20mm or litle more.

Was working in London the other day and I came across this in a cupboard, I asked the guy who owns it and he didn't no but it had been there for a long time.A few hours went by and the same guy said he found out who owned it and they said I could take it if I wanted it....

Meant to add that over sizing the wheels can cause quite scarey tyre pulling away from the rim in cornering reading posts, so I would not personally fit 205s but stick with the expected width for the rim being fitted.
