Hello
I need your help to make sure I order the right part please.
My Puma gearstick has lost it's positiveness, it is now like stirring a big bowl of porridge, looking through topics on here at length it seems my issue may be the linkage, I have looked under the car and wiggled the stick and the linkage is very very sloppy and easy to move with my hand under the car too-is this normal?, I assume not and that's why I am looking to replace the linkage, but will this cure the floppy non centering gearstick too??

Many thanks for all your help

it may be just a bolt loose in the linkage causing the slopp feeling
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Could also be a broken return spring in the gearbox too.

Cheers guys I am near Southampton, and am aware of Tremona, I can replace the linkage myself so wondered if this is the likely cause, it would certainly be cheaper than taking it to a garage if it is the return spring.
