Bought FRP #0192 in february and as theres been a bit of work already i thought id show u some of it smile.gif

(Its first clean)

Calipers painted in hammerite blue. Cant really beat the match from something off the shelf.

Then disaster strikes, snapped the N/S driveshaft. Not the joint may i add, the actual shaft!

New manifold and lambda fitted thinking this would cure my running problem, when in fact it turned out to be the MAF airflow sensor.

(Rusty boot)

(More rusty bits and caliper detailing)

(Badly chipped bumper)

Newer type ACCEL coilpack and Ford Racing leads.

New back box fitted, box is in very good condition so i get to enjoy that rasp for time to come! biggrin.gif

And latest so far, the spacers. Alot will frown but for £25 its well worth it.

Here she is, took these tonight ofter a good polish biggrin.gif

There will be plenty more to come im sure, but for now i must save my money for a rainy day as theres bound to be a few more on the way rolleyes.gif

Cheers, Marcus.

Looking good, whats the red stuff? Some sort of rust remover?

Whatever it is, it looks like it came up pretty damn well afterwards!

i used 19mm ones, the 25mm looked a little too much for me... i wanted it quite subtle

as for the paint, its re oxide primer... helps with rust smile.gif

did some shopping at fords yesterday...
-lower grill
-TPS
-clutch switch
-manifold heatsheild

now i think i got given the wrong TPS as the car holds its revs when moving, its got all the sames codes on as the original... very strange.

all come to £120 which isnt suprising

also a pic of the new spray job which is literally perfect on inspection...

and the long awaited tickford badge...

i had one of these and after lots of fun biggrin.gif my denso iridium plugs had burnt tips, the leads were knackered and now my car isnt running right sad.gif

cant be sure it was because of this, but ive gone back to standard and it seems better but there is still a problem

Those accel coilpacks dont do anything special except they are more efficient and reduce loses. Same with fancy leads. Leads wear out as do coil packs.

Burnt spark plug tips seems like something else going on there.

Also purchased a few more parts that it needs.
