My FRP is in need of some new shock absorber but Eibach aren’t able to provide them unless I commit to 10+ sets. They did suggest I get in touch with Bilstein but I’m trying to keep the car as original as pos. what are other people doing?

Hi
Generally the originals for most are still in working order.
Is it just one shock you have issues with or all 4?

The fronts are ok, the tears are a bit iffy, got an advisory on the MOT and I’m have the rear trailing arm refurbed so it seems like the perfect time to switch them out

do you have a plan B for the rears, is it topical rust or leaking?

Rust, but they’re really bad, I could barely see any paint 😄
I’ve spoke to Eibach and they suggested getting in touch with Bilstein and trying to sort something through them.
I’ve done some googling and the only people I can see that make a set of coil overs for the FRP is Gaz

10 sets doesn't sound out of the question, did they discuss pricing?
