Original damage

Fitted a bonnet that was donated by an old mate

My question is, can i sort these gaps and how? I've actually started to bend the bonnet in places by trying to manually bend the hinges back into place.

Is it the wing that is out rather then bend the bonnet?

The wing looks straight enough and wasn't involved in the impact -- but it could have been pushed out.

Mine is a 1999 model but has the welded on wings. Does the model without welded wings have the same bonnet the model with welded wings? Could this be my problem that the replacement bonnet i have be off a later model?

I don't think so I thought it was just the washer jets that changed.
Probably worth asking Ian G site owner as he might know as breaks Pumas.

I believe the car is worth saving and will remain in my garage until i'm ready to send off to a body shop.

Hi Bud... I had similar damage to my car..

Have a look through this, it will give you an idea of what I did to repair mine.

Were the chassis legs and inner wings straight?

Where are you located?
