This post was moved to The Lounge by a moderator as it was deemed to be drifting off topic, or should have been started in The Lounge where chat type posts should be made. Either that, or it's simply not Puma related.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

I think that's an estate not a van.
The back door is wrong and the sides. wink.gif

I know but as it's an estate with no rear windows that makes it a van surely?

A bit like the mk3/4 vans that were estates with no windows. I think they were called Combis.

The MK1 was the better handling car wink.gif

All to do with the rear panel where the number plate mounts...
on a MK1 it's much thicker...
On the MK2 its single skin, allowing the rear Chassis legs to flex under extreme cornering loads ohmy.gif

That's why you see MK2 Escorts with the rear valance cut away and a section of Tube / box section welded in tongue.gif

I spent a lot more money on making my MK2 handle than the MK1 rolleyes.gif

From the small amount we car see, "I guess" a MK1 Cortina Estate unsure.gif
And a Rover TC at the other end at right angles ??

Good call or the Cortina - I think you're right.

Not sure about the one behind though - it looks more like a two door and doesn't seem to have a rear quarterlight.

Could be a 2 door MK1 Cortina I suppose?
