Hey People, so i have recently purchased personal plates... Yeah i know i should really think about mods to my car, but really liked these plates smile.gif so my number plate is now, P9 OVE.....

How do we all feel about personal plates then, and does anyone have them?

So if you spot me now, give us a beep wink.gif

Cheers, Pove

I was always against them as there seemed to be no point, bit posy etc. but then I saw a Focus with my initials on it and since then have kind of wanted one tongue.gif

It is nice to have a personalised car but then again it makes you instantly recognisable - can be good or bad in different situations.

I am only 'against' the really silly ones now!

I kind of want one usually until I go and look at the prices, lol. Then that instantly puts me off.

I like them...within reason and if reasonably priced.

I have 2

'KIOSO' is Japanese for 'racing/competition', used to be on my FRP.

'BOK' refers to my username, '888' is also a lucky number for orientals signifying wealth and good luck.

But they are personal so as long as you like it why worry what others think?

If they are good enough for high speed Police pursuit, they are good enough for me cool.gif No longer in existence unfortunately... sad.gif

Is he a milkman? I've always been lead to believe all Colins are milkmen lol

Anyway, back OT...

I think my car has its own plate now, the one it deserves.

Its Ford Racing Puma number 14 of 500 (ish)

A personal plate is all it's meant to be, personal. If it says something to you, that's all that matters.

We have one on 3 out of 4 of our cars, we didn't pay silly money for any of them, we bought them all through the DVLA as they were by far the cheapest and they sorted all the paperwork with ease.

I like Personal Plates. cool.gif
I may get one for my Kat once she is over 10 years old to hide her true age. ph34r.gif
What I don't like are illegal private plates. I hate people who have illegal ones as they are clearly flouting the law. Pet hate i'm afraid. ranting2.gif
