Hi there. Just got the old cambelt changed, leaving me free to rag the 'ol Puma in relative safety. I'm looking to do a track day in the new year but don't know where would suit the Puma's abilities. Anyone got any advice on which tracks are good fun in a Puma and which are to be avoided?

'Cos it's not the quickest car in the world, something without too many massive straights would probably be best. Seeing as you're in London, the Brands Hatch Indy circuit may be a good place. If you've never done a track day before, though, maybe an airfield day would be a better bet so you'd get used to driving right on the very limit.

i'm going around castle combe in the first track day of 07 in March, nice little circuit.. will be taking it easy first few laps this time though!!

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured. Nimble but short on legs. Brands sounds good. I've never done a track day, but i've done about five (hard) driving laps at the 'ring. Does that count? I do have a feeling nothing's going to compare to the green hell though!
