Having running lights on the car is totally different to having the same style as audi, volvo have had this for years now but dont use leds. Other car manufactuers may start putting the running lights on but i doubt they will use the same design as Audi as that would be seen as copying

The VX Insignia has running lights and my wife was asking me which car had frowny headlights the other day, (I think A4).

I think the mod looks well done and mods are always a matter of taste so not everyone will want it on their car but one can still appreciate a mod without wishing to have it themselves.

The worst thing surely is to spend ages doing a unique mod for some company to start selling kits for Saxos and corsas in maxpower! (does it still exist?) laugh.gif

They look good, but is it just me that thinks the running lights on Audis are annoyingly bright?

I have the rear afterburner/LED conversion.

The front Audi lights mod i saw at the European Puma meet @ The Ring and was very tempted to do it myself.

Jamie, I guess yours are the same thing then but wired to the ignition? Does that mean they are always on like the Audi ones?

yes.

Ah okay, so they are used as proper daytime running lights then rather than just for show.

I remember someone had the idea of putting rows of LEDs in the 'claw marks' at the top of the headlamps. I think that would look pretty cool, quite factory looking.

Yup as soon as I turn the ignition on thats them on.

It's all down what to you prefer I seen that mod I wasn't keen on it but that's just my opinion.
