Hi Guys - I've got a Puma Thunder. yesterday I went to unlock as usual and it wouldnt unlock.
I opened the boot and the alarm went off then after a few minutes the alarm stopped and the hazard lights stopped blinking.
I crawled through and started the car up and drove home.
I tried my spare fob and that doesnt work either.
Does anybody know which fuses I should be looking at to swap out?
thanks in advance - Gus

Might it not be the battery in your fob?
Did you try opening the door manually with the key in the lock?
There's a fuse article in the wiki and photos in the gallery.

Ah i can't - the lock on the door seems to be different to the one that starts the car.
I've swapped the battery out and thats made no difference and I've also tried using my spare key that I programmed up six months ago.
I'll have a look at the fuse layout and give you a shout if I get stuck - thanks a lot - Gus

bugger - checked all the fuses and everyone is fine.
Is it possible to reprogram the key with the alarm set?
thanks - Gus

There are guides on programming the key in the wiki, 2 or 3 button.

Great - all working now - just needed a reprogram.
I think I know what might have happened now - I left a ecig battery in my pocket the other day and it short circuited next to my leg.
The keys and battery got very very hot, and I think that may have knackered the cr2032 in the puma remote.
I've left a cr2032 and the reprogram instructions in the car in case I get into a similar situation in the future.
thanks for all the help - Gus
