I found it at work this morning - it was enormous (some of the wonen wouldn't come near it!), but when one of the biologists told me what I had it made me smile

he told me it was a c0ckchafer

I never new what they were called we get them in our garden as our house backs on to woodlands,our garden and suroundings are full of trees and bushes smile.gif

Hemiptera is a broader category, of which Homoptera form a part. I can never remember which way round they are laugh.gif
