come up and see me...make me smile

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO -What a Ride!:D

My moth-expert friend will ID it shortly no doubt, and then I'll let you know. I haven't the faintest clue except I think it's a female judging by the lack of feathering on the antennae (and that may not be all species anyway!). I fail at moth geekery!

Why don't moths come out all the time during the day, rather than finding that one lightbulb in the dark? LOADS of light during the day to fly around!

Its not daylight that brings them out but moonlight, they fly around lightbulbs because they see them as the moon. Tiger moths, Cinnabar moths and Burnet moths fly in the day.

There are no Matts on my stairs thanks! And moths are beautiful! They have no biting mouthparts so no need to be scared of them, they are harmless* cute things!

No sheep shagging jokes on my moth thread! This is photographers' corner remember!
My ex (very good photographer) told me one of the photos (they are all at my website if you want to see) is a bit soft...
