Currently running on P6000's, but know nothing about them. My old cat used to run on NCT3's, but I've also hear that Yokohama A539's are supposed to be good.
Any input ? :?:

I ran Toyos a few years back on my XR2i, thought they were a really good tyre and certainly look the part :!:
Their also £10 cheaper than P6000's

Still, £140 for the pair, fitted, was probably the neatest bit

DONT buy cheap makes of tyre
Will ruin handling - and your wallet when you ditch it!
Stick with top names only - as most people are talking about so far!!!

Falkens cheap then? They seem to make rather fancy tyres... I still can't remember that damned tyre place in Bristol... :-?

Absolutely it was Pro-Tyre...thanks for that Sort of driving me mad trying to think of the name... Yeah, they stock oodles of "nice" tyres at stupid prices...they had some tasty wheels there too... :>

£50 a corner for the 195/50R15's , and £75 for the 205/40R17's.
Haven't got them anymore, currently shod with 235/80R16 hehe

Lot of options, but noone is saying anything about the P6k's ?
Will definitely spend a fair bit on getting good tires, after all, they are what keeps me on the road. Not relly that wirried about wear, if they have good wet/dry-grip.

I've been running P6k's for nearly three years without any problems. I've been more than happy with the grip in both the wet and dry. I do get some understeer in the wet when I'm pushing it, but you would probably get that with most tyres. Makes it entertaining though
Having used Toyos on a previous car I would suggest they were fairly equal, but the Toyos are £10 cheaper per tyre. Price is the main reason I'm considering changing to Toyos

You stole my site
That's where I'm gettin my Toyos from for the FRP.... 215/40/17s at around £70 each.... they're due to arrive on Friday - don't believe what it says about next day delivery - it's nest day AFTER they have your money, not next day after you order! So far tho, they seem pretty much on the ball.... 8)

That includes delivery and Vat etc, all you need to pay for is fitting, which shouldn't be more than £10 per wheel, so you'll still have saved about £10 at the end of it all, if not more, if you go mytyres rather than black circles
I have no idea where Toby heard of mytyres.net Caz?
I'll be placing an order for 2 Toyos soon, want to have them to hand just in case I need them for the MOT! Been happy with them so far, great grip in the wet
