for those of you that have fit a fibreglass or carbon bonnet to your puma where have you mounted the rear bonnet pins? Im thinking of getting one but the mounting position seems tricky.

I have a carbon fibre one that uses the original bonnet catch mounted to the underside of the bonnet and was a like for like genuine replacement with no modifications needed. Bonnet was from LWS design.

Cheers

Ally

another alternative I've used on past cars is to pop-rivet a triangular plate (approx 15 cm sides) on the rear corners and simply slip the bonnet under these and secure using front bonnet pins. If your bonnet flexes too much at the centre rear then simply pop-rivet another overhanging strip in the middle.

thanks fledge nice race car BTW looks a right piece of kit that! Im wanting to run aero catches so Im not sure I can mount the pins though the wings like that. Ive seen a fibreglass bonnet with an inner frame so I may have to go for that instead so I can still use the original hinges.
