Something probably for the oldies amoungst us.

What was the point in that 80's phenomenom. BIG HAIR!!!

Mainly something that the laydeez did, oh and some rock stars of dubious sexual persuasion...

Ex of mine could get through a complete can of hairspray in one session...

it's like anything.... big hair was 'a fashion' which seemed like a great idea at the time, but looking back on it now...... maybe not quite so good!

Thing is, many of the 'other' fashions of the time (hipsters, flared jeans, skinny tops, and I suppose even platform shoes and wedge heels) have all come back - maybe big hair will be the next big thing again ????

Yesterday, I was looking through my cupboards and found a pic of me with big hair... and big shades.... that was scary wink.gif

If I'm feeling brave enough I might scan it and add it on here somewhere! But don't hold your breath lol....

The 80s cool.gif

It was all about power and conspicuous consumption.

And proper cars like these wub.gif wub.gif

You gotta admit, there is something empowering when a guy lifts the bonnet of his broken down car and looks at the engine like he knows what he's doing crazy.gif
