made some more progress but not much tbh, the place you question is now welded up both sides as well as this it now has a 2mm steel plate welded in place to make it stronger.

my current slam panel looks like a curly wurly  i need to get another none damaged one to adapt and fit to the pumba. looking at making custom mounts for a small oil cooler, small charge cooler and new larger rad. these will have to fit around the supercharger but haven't got any of these yet. the next step is to fit the engine back in there and get about assembling the items listed above as well as the associated thing to go along with them i will set about mocking everything out at the shortest route as well as most efficient weight saving set up.

Hah I love my flap wheel you can hide all sorts of evil ;).

You welded the drive shafts, ground 'em down and sleeved them? I'm sure that'll be fine!

the only thing im worried about is getting enough penetration into the steel. i had the welder sit on the highest setting. i do have 3 more drive shafts to make so I'm sure i will get it perfect eventually fella. i should get some work done in a week or so.

well its been a long time but the puma is running again all be it with a 1.25 with 1.6 cams, 421, puma inlet and injectors. just something i have lying around at my unit. ive also put the front back to standard top mounts and width and steel rear arches back on (well they will be in a week or so) the role cage is finished just needs rubbing down and painting. the copper fuel lines are run and the 300mm brake are fitted and blead with the braided hoses. the tank pump has been removed and a 50mm one has been installed in the car with new hp[ fuel lines with steel fittings. still needs loads of work to get it anywhere near finished but i can get in it and take it for a blast around the units for the first time since october 2012.
