Hi Folks...

I managed to get my hands on a 1.7 puma for a conversion (part broke) and Im struggling to get it to start...

The engine will turn over fine, but wont fire... Took the fuel lines off and there BONE DRY...
The Pump does not prime when turning key, nor does it run when turning engine over....

Ive checked the fuel cut off switch, tried pushing red button in, but it seems to be all the way in anyway....
The imobliser comes off as it should with red light going off on the clock
There is fuel in it....
The fuse is fine and i swapped the relay with the headlight ones which are same and still no change...?

So im saying a duff pump at this point, is this common?

Im going to try running 12v's directly to the pump tonight... Can anyone tell me what colour wire I need to feed too off the harness under the back seat?

Cheers in Advance for any help!

Check if you have 12v going to the pump first, does the relay click?

The Fuel Pump earths in the boot onto the light bolt! How mad is that! Re-secured the Earth! Problem Solved!
