Hi all

I bought some front mud guards the weekend because of the stone chips, put them on today as per the instructions. They have a gap down the side of the body contour. I attached the clips but they just don't fit properly.

Anyone else had this problem?

Cheers biggrin.gif

I think if you put them in a bucket of hot water for a while first it softens them and makes then easier to fit good.gif

No, they don't exactly fit that snug. I fiddled about with them trying to get a better fit.
How did you find the fixing hole at the bottom...mine was all rusty, so i removed the loose stuff and kurust/hammerite'd it. once the flaps were on i sprayed plenty of wax seal behind the matting....it looks to me like the cavity could sure get full of damp cr**, still, I think it'll be much less of a worry with flaps fitted.
have you bought some for the rear......these don't fit great either!

I already have some on the rear thank god, I did all the rust yesterday before putting them on. The holes for the bolts were fine. There is just such a gap down the side, maybe i will try heating them in hot water.

My front fitted fine and with no gaps but the back got slight gaps on them i sprayed lots of grease behind them to help keep body good.
Back 1s we're nightmare to fit compared to the front.
