Richard - it looks as if the part just clips on, except one mine on side is broken so it never stays on longer than 5 secs, or until someone moves the seat forward. Good luck in your hunt too!

Think one on mine was broken too. Will try dumb blonde thing but think that will work better for you than me! (Blonde bit ....not dumb I mean ( hell stop digging holes there)). Let me know if you find source for parts won't you? Good luck with car hope you enjoy it as much as I'm going to enjoy mine!!!

the part is the recliner mech cover (or at least it was when buliding the prototype seats if it's a focus type seat). it will be specific for both side of the car and side of the seat.

usually knocked off when passengers get out of the back of the car.
