Whenever I fire up the ignition on a very cold morning, I get a strange muffled irregular thumping or knocking noise somewhere on drivers side behind dash? Bout every 2 - 4 secs but irregular. Goes away once engine is warm but is too quiet to hear while driving along so don't know if it only happens while idling. Any ideas?
Cheers

I expect u may be able to isolate that this knocking noise occurs when the temp dial is anywhere between min and max. If so then you will find what this is on the TSB section

Cheers all for replies. I'll look up the TSB when that bit is on site aagain. And to think I thought the Kat had been on the prowl without me and caught a small rodent, stuffed it under the bonnet away from my prying eyes and left the poor wee mousie thumping around trying to get out biggrin.gif

BTW Sorry original message ended up under Wheels Suspension section... still getting the hang of new site.
