Hi,
I have 1 key to my puma and for the last couple of months ive not been able to unlock with the key or the alarm goes off. I hve to open it by using the button. Last night i went to go out and couldnt open the door, so presumed the battery had gone in the key. Couldnt go out cos i knew if i opened it with the key manually it would set the alarm off. My husband took the battery out of the key then put it back in but door wouldnt open so he opened it manually. Of course the alarm went off. It stopped after 5 mins but i cant open the car door now with out alarm going off. Does anybody know how to disarm the alarm. Tried pulling out the horn fuse but it still went off. Please help cos i need to get out. When i press the button on the key the red light does go off (on key) but does nothing to the ar. Tried programming the key back in but i think where the alarm has gone off its still on if you know what i mean.
Any suggestions will be kindly welcome.
Tracy

Most likly to be the alarm module box or the key needs reprogramming.
or you could search "ALARM" and get all these results

Hi,
Thanks for your help. When ive looked through the past posts it comes back to re programming key. I have tried that a few times but to no avail.
Has anyone any idea how to disconnect the alarm. Cant find anywhere on here that tells you.
I had to drive my hubbys golf today cos i was desperate lol. and really really want to get back to using my kat.
Please please anyone if they know what to do let me knowas at the moment the car is undrivable.

Hi,
No, just the standard ford alarm. People have told me to disconnect from alarm module box, but where is it and how do you do it.
Sorry to sound so dense but im only used to cleaning and driving it. I cant even take it to a garage to do it because cant drive it with alarm belting out.
Regards
Tracy
