Went along to my first ever rallycross meeting today and i will definately be going back

its brilliant, dirt and tarmac makes for very interesting driving and the supercars as their called are amazingly fast, some of the fastest cars i have seen.

anyway on the second race a lovely rally puma came out and it was the dogs danglie ones. so so fast.

went and had a few words with the owner after and its running between 500-550 bhp blink.gif blink.gif

thought you would like too see some pics of it

The rest of todays pics here: click me,

ja_cool.gif great pics, think I'll give that rear arch protection a miss though wink.gif
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Kool... I go there most bank hoildays... only 15 mins from me, its a good day out nice to walk around the pits to have a closer look at the cars

I saw my first racing puma parked up there 4 years ago biggrin.gif

They have a rally cross every bank hoilday and on certain days of the year you can take you own car on the track (not the gravel section) they have professional race drivers that can sit in and advise you on your track driving too

I want one of those... bugger - just dribbled on my keyboard.....

Does it have the engine in the back? All those air vents into the boot look like it does.

no there just the cooling ducts for the fans and radiator it had four fans in the back.

the engine was in the front you can see the turbo on the left behind the middle grill on this pic.

ah yeah forgot you lived near there.

there was some lovely cars in the car park too.

all grass parking though is not good i went when it started raining i should have stayed there and laughed at everyone getting stuck in the mud.

i wonder if his stick on light covers work better than the normal puma ones crazy.gif .
