Radio radio 6000cd problem

can anybody help me, i changed my battery and now the radio flashes code but will not let me put the code in, when i press 1234 nothing happens? its a 6000 cd, Cheers...

hi,
if you pull the stereo out and look for the serial number should start with M i.e M038296
If you could let me know that I will get you the code

hi there, i have the code, when i press the one button it will not go into the code section, nothing happens, it just flashes like it is stuck!

if you pull it out and d/c all the cables and put them back in again make sure it's the correct code and then press 5 and see if that works

tried that, it wont let me put the code in, no numbers come up in the code box ,not from any of the numbers 1234 buttons. it just keeps flashing code.

have you tried removing the stereo number panel aswell and giving it a clean?

long shot try this open drivers door and leave open put the ignition on Use Rred key only then put the stereo on press and hold presets 1, 3 and 6 ignition off then back on within 1 second Release presets 1, 3 and 6 Radio off & ignition off if that doesn't wok remove the battery and then connect it back up try removing the fuse for the stereo aswell and remove stereo and cables then reconnect them and try again
