Brake Lights near side brake light on all the time

I have a 1.7 2007 Puma. Whenever my lights are on the nearside brake light stays on, it does not only go on when braking. The offside light and boot brake light work correctly. Has anyone any idea why this is and if it can be fixed easily

Sounds like the dual filament bulb has fused, try replacing it (21/5w)
