RS Day Castle Combe 2012

It's that time of year again, RS Combe is coming up!
The racing puma side of things is being orgnised by Lottie & myself this year, so here's the details:

This Years Castle Combe's event will take place on Saturday 7th July 2012, gates will be open 7AM – 5PM.

Unlike other years, this year non RPOC members are welcome as well as all Ford Vehicles but FRP’s ONLY for the Parade Lap.

Tickets on the day will be at £15.00

Ideally we would like to get everyone's tickets in advance so here's the plan:

Children under 16 go free.
Tickets will be at £15 per person.

Tickets for the parade lap are at £5 per car, with the proceeds going to charity.
Due to last years misbehaviour we are ALL expected to behave impeccably! No speeding, no dangerous overtaking or dangerous moves etc. Remember this is a family event and there will be children in cars on the track, we don't want to ruin anyone's good day out! We as organisers are responsible for your understanding of this, please don't let us down!!

Rant over…

Payment for tickets would be preferably via Paypal using "gift" as payment type (this avoids any fees) alternatively we are willing to accept cheques but only up until 8th June, as this gives us time to process payment and sort tickets etc.
Paypal payment will be accepted up until 15th June as we will be booking tickets on 18th June so all payment must be processed by then! ☺

PM for paypal details/address for cheques, or any other details you need!

Details we need for tickets:

Full Name + Guest names (For lanyards)
Forum Name
Puma Number
Registration Plate

Meet at the usual place, for those who are unfamiliar here's the details:

Where: Morrisons Chippenham (Good for Petrol, Breakfast, Toilets & Supplies)
Time: 8AM – 8:45AM, Leaving promptly at 9, stragglers will be left behind! :P

Morrisons Address:

Cepen Park North
Chippenham,
SN14 6UZ

Attendance List:

Zara Brady - (FRP 014)
Graham Gillings - (FRP 72) - Meeting on Stand
Lisa + Toby - (FRP 144)
Aaron & Lottie - (FRP 190) - Parade
Alan Mowberry - (FRP 241)
Dave Trantom - (FRP 374)
Jason Palmer +1 - (FRP 401)
Matt Smith - (FRP 435)
Kate Umfreville - (FRP 482)

Guys please make sure you wear & bring plenty of sun cream as last year we got slightly sizzled! Plenty of water too!

Last year a few of us felt a tad left out, so this year we would like to bring everyone together with the FRP's, we will be holding a small competition between us lot judging these categories:

General cleanliness (Including interior)
Originality
Paint finish quality (e.g swirls & holograms etc … paint chips won't count!)
No expense spared

These will be as marks out of 10 per category and there will be 1 overall winner (prize TBC), of course we will give you all a little something for taking part! ☺

There is the "Bok" trophy which was awarded to the FRP with the most "Bok like" modifications.
I think Barry won it last (Hot wheels) , not sure if it was for keeps or to be recycled.
There was also a trophy for the "Best Parade" laps, which was presented by the RS Day organisers.
there wasn't one last year, I won the 2010 tenth anniversary one :)
Not sure if they are doing it again.

I won't be meeting up at Morrisons as I'm out on he track during the day and need to get the car noise tested.
So will proverbially go it with the other local group I belong to who will be going in at 8:00.

Congratulations in advance to Alan and Vas for winning the paint finish and No expense spared awards

It's been under a car cover most of the time I would imagine.
With one or two runs out on Sunny days?

Mines been washed twice this year by "Bubbles" hand car wash as it was just getting too dirty.
Inside was vacuumed for Rallyday in September, to as a daily driver it could do with a spring clean now :roflmao:

Just no time.
Decorating and working on next door every spare moment of the day.
Carpets going down on Thursday so I have nearly finished :)
Just the garden so sort and a bit of stone walling to do.

Hi, it very much looks like I wont be able to attend this year. I hope the day goes really well as it is a good day with plenty to see and your friendly competitions sound great.

I don't think I will be parading either  I've not paid for it and can't really see the point when I have track time.
People are going to be seeing a lot more of my car being driven Briskly all day I hope.
Will make a change to sit it out and watch for once ;)

You will need a long sleeve top and a crash helmet Alan.
Not sure how much they will charge for a passenger ride pass, but I will be doing swaps with a few people so you will only get one session I suspect..
