Decisions decisions....... Power flow or Milltek..... I am debating which one to go for what im after is good quality deep sound when Im accelerating and I don't want it to be loud on the motor way like my previous car was it did my nut in, how does the milltek cat-back sound?... I want to start off with a cat-back first then a few months later get the manifold and sports.

Milltek no question. Powerflow build an exhaust around the holes in the floorpan, the Miltek is designed properly for the car.
S*** LRX, usually belting between Dover and Maidstone by any means except the M20

Weitec GT Coilovers, Powerflex bushes, Milltek full FRP exhaust, 280mm front brakes
Low slung, taught, powerful and stops on a dime.

Excellent Darren you love it you rally schlaaaaag!

Pro's for both :-

Powerflow as it can be custom made to your car and can custom a sound you like.

Miltek as it is designed for the car performance wise (although little gains!)

Con's for both :-

None that i can think of.

one to bare in mind, it is better to ensure that what ever you fit enables you to keep your existing heat shields.
lastly there is also the Piper kit.

I have a Powerflow and it sounds lovely!

Powerflow are custom made to the owners wishes. I bought mine secondhand from seang who was local to me at the time and is on this forum. Turned out he had the same taste as me!

Its fine around town and sitting there in traffic, but take it out on a motorway or sweeping country road, it really sounds nice and I feel it on the back of my seat! I wouldn't say it is loud, just sporty.

Having said that, i know that Milltek owners are happy with them too.

I guess either way, you wouldn't be disappointed. smile.gif

mine had a powerflow on when i bought it. seemed ever so noisey so i took it off and put a standard one on. didnt like the powerflow. i would be tempted to try a milltek one tho, if i'd had any money left after insuring the thing mad.gif
