Power Chips ?

Hi been here 2 mins an already asking stupid things !

On ebay there is a black box for sale that surposedly gives up to 30bhp ,as far as I can tell it tricks the engine into thinking its still cold and therfore causes over fueling and retarding of the ignition timing giving better power !

has anyone tried them ? do they work ? do they cause any problems ?

any help is apprecated

I think a new set of good tyres would be better. 30BHP... placebo me thinks

searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

well at £7.50 it might be worth a look and fortunitly I have 2 standard cars to compere side by side .

wow I live in a 2 puma family lol

little update for you all !

put the box on and took it for a spin , Yes it does work not saying 40 hp but deffo a good solid boost everywhere Posted Image

, so much so that I'm thinking of up rating the brakes !

£7.50 for the box alot more for the brakes , balls Posted Image

p.s the girl friend hates me cause the car is now running so well lol

guess who wants the little black box fitting

and yes i would recommend it .got a blast around europe soon (off to milano) let you know if it makes it and how the box performs over distance
