Why not stick with the standard one? Mine lasted 95k miles!

Speaking to supersonic, who has an uprated one (well stiff) and he reckons it is harsher and tiring in town. It is good for hard driving but no particular performance benefits unless you increase bhp as well (what he said, I have no idea!).

Hi
if you want to save on cost. You could buy the clutch from Ford and then get another garage with cheaper labour costs to fit it.

For information I saw a post the other day regarding one off a Focus that I think I'll be going for as it's bigger than standard but fits the Pu'.

Ford Focus, 1.8 16V
Valeo Clutch Kit, 834009:
Engine Code: EYDA, EYDC.
From MY: 11/2001 To MY: 10/2003.
Transmission Type: Manual Transmission, Type: B5, New Part, D1: 220 mm, D2: 219 mm, Supplementary Article/Supplementary Info: with cam follower.
- Kit 3 pieces including Central Slave Cylinder.

Not sure on price as yet but chances are it's probably cheaper than the Puma one.
