Happy Father's Day to all Dads.

Steve's happy. I went to Manchester yesterday and spent a fortune on myself. I felt guilty then remembered he'd been saying he wanted a PS2 for ages. He's happy with his pressie and I don't feel guilty anymore smile.gif

come up and see me...make me smile

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO -What a Ride!:D

I got a lovely card from my eldest (who nearly came to live with me last week after falling out with her mum yet again) thanking me for all my support this last year.

Not ashamed to say it brought a tear to my eye.

Ha a really nice day with my dad (and mum was there too). Arrived just in time to help him build his new BBQ, including taking the big bottle of gas back and swapping it for the little one!!

Had a lovely barbie the three of us then watched the Falklands 25 ceremony that they'd Sky plussed. His cousin's daughter (OT, but that makes her something to me, does anybody know what?) sang one of the solos.

Bought him a CD he'd been after BTW.

I spent the whole day at work. 6am 'till 9pm

My boys and their mum got me a lovely bottle of one of my favourite whiskys; Glenkinchie and a pack of different beers.
They had picked some cheeky cards and Brendan had made me a proper one of his own.

Thankyou so much for making me feel special

xx
