Hi All,
Fairly new here, thought i would introduce you all to my puma. It made its first trip on track last night. Its bog standard except for an open air filter. It will slowly be turned into a track/road car so this will be a nice starting point.
Even as standard it kept some much quicker cars honest on track!!
Enjoy

searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

you probably kept up because many people don't have a clue what they are doing and make more of a cock up trying to make there car go faster badly. There is a lesson there. Keep it standard as possible, nothing too complicated, but try and make sure the car is working spot on. New bushes, wheel alignment. Driver tuition is also a good way to pass those guys
All stuff puma - puma technical & all things rebuilt...

Hi there,
I am glad to see some good basic driving in another puma on the track. I have just gone through the same process you have with my puma. I have gone to town on the suspension and brakes to make them last but other than that standard engine and driveline. If you need help then let me know. If you need some driving tuition then let me know as I can help out. I am not a pretender and have a proven history. I will be at Combe on the 28th June.
Can give any help as setting up a new team to help people get started in trackday's / racing. Trying to help all puma people out! Driving / technical and track day modifications.
Hope that helps
Thanks Stuart Adam

A BHP trackday then..
I'm finishing nights in Chippenham that morning, but might nip along when I get up after lunch, with a camera.
If you see a FRP parked at Quarry give me a wave

I made it around last weekend.
Quite surprised by how fast you could get around it.
I was just touching 120mph as I braked at Avon rise and was foot on the floor in third around Quarry.
