I have been thinking of this for a while as i uprated them in my ZS and i had literally no unneccessary movement/vibration when i did.

This company are very good and you can get LH/RHGear Box Mount for £300 which is a great price in my opinion.

Engine Mounts

Pumabuild do something similar but i'm not sure how good they are compared to these. I have tried emailing and phoning PB but to no avail.

i think these are the vibra technics ones puma build do, i have heard fitting these makes the whole car vibrate like a constant hum, i think its deffinately worth getting a torque link uprated, but as for engine and gear box mount i dont think its worth it!

I'll check a bit more into it then.

But it does say its supposed to stop vibration and movement/hum.

Especially the road versions anyways biggrin.gif

I used to drool over the ones at PB... I always wanted them on 351 but they worked out soo expensive.

They are nearer bolting the engine directly to the chassis so probably make the car vibrate more.

Isn't the movement of the engine the cause of the cases of the cracking stainless manifolds? If so these might help as well as giving a more positive driving feel.

your right about the cracking manifolds, fitting the torque link will cure that, the other engine mount wont really stop it at all

I'd certainly recomend the torque link to be uprated should a different manilfold has ben fitted, but there is not such a need for the other maybe unless there is problem with them already. smile.gif

My engine seems to be sagging for some reason so i presume its the engine mounts. Can replace for standard ones just wanted opions on uprated ones.

Defo getting the gear link torque mount as have a 4-2-1 manifold smile.gif

how much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its a rod with some rubber in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my old fiesta with the older style of engine mounting used to snap tougher diesel gearbox mounts in half within a month!!!!!

got some 'deflex' ones at a very good price & they outlived the car, sold to some racing nutter on ebay & last i heard they were still going strong, wonder if they make puma ones......

be warned though, ive also had deflex wishbone bushes & they were crap!!!
