Hi all,

As promised, ive decided to start a new group buy. The target is to get over 10 metres to reduce the price. prices are as follows with payment collections starting 1st FEB so that everyones been paid. prices are as follows;

Upto 10 metres = £52.10 + VAT (£61.22)

10 metres plus = £39.81 + VAT (£46.78 )

Delivery is a standard charge of £15 for any quantity.

If you want to save on postage, i can get it all delivered to my place, then we can arrange a meet for collection (worcestershire/west mids would be ideal. Ideas welcome). In which case the £15 postage cost will be divided by the number of people coming to the meet.

Add your names to a numbered list and ill start collecting payment on 1st FEB. Payment by paypal (add 4% to cover paypals charges) or bank transfer would be ideal as it saves waiting for cheques to clear. IF you do want to pay by cheque can you send payment early.

If we dont reach the 10 metres +, ive agreed a price of £50 a metre with the company.

Is it Boyriven you are buying from?

As they are only an hours drive from me at Andover.
It will be cheaper for me to just drive down and collect it, if I get some.

If it is Boyriven?

I spoke to them when I was after the Pannel type (slightly stretchy) which they supplied to Tickford / Ford for the steering wheels.
Thats now all gone forever sad.gif
But I might have found something very close smile.gif

I could work with Chris and bring it along to RS day for people to collect etc.
I collected mine at Rallyday last year.

Its about two and a half hour round trip for me, 45 minutes to Stonehenge, then a blast up the A303 biggrin.gif

It would keep the postage costs down lower.

Hi,

Yeah boyriven are the supplier, i think the plan was to get it posted to my house, ill cut it up then arrange a meet in worcs or west mids. Alternatively you can collect and it can be collected from you at RS day.

options are then;

1. collect from worcs/west mids meet (TBA)
2. collect from Rally day
3. Have it posted direct to your house.

Are you coming to Rallyday?

As we could distribute around the country if people take it back to their area's from there.

I could collect it. It will not cost me £15 in petrol I would hope!

Well if people want me to collect it and bring it along to Rallyday, let me know.
I have had my drivers seat covered already and still have over half left from the last buy. smile.gif
So if I buy any, its only for future use.

I am using another type for the wheel, which is being done for Gaydon in a couple of weeks.

Your only down the road really from me anyway biggrin.gif

I go to Bristol about once a month to the In-laws, Cinema etc.
Whitchurch, Stockwood or Hengrove.
I'm sure I could meet you somewhere, or I could drop off at Ed's place in Bristlington. smile.gif

As a matter of interest to People, I might have got a better price for the Alcantara.

Over the past few months, I have been in contact with them about for my Steering wheel.
Well, they will sell by the half meter, If I wanted and the backed stuff we use for the seat has just been quoted to me by Marc at:

Price per metre £32.55 + VAT ohmy.gif

If I collect.

Thats less then £40 all in!

I will double check with Marc, its the same stuff.
But my Email to him has a picture of a FRP's inside.

This is gettin way too complicated!! this group buy is for the normal alcantara as sold in previous group buys and at the prices quoted at the start.....not the stretchy stuff etc, and is either for postage or collection from the meet to be arranged. If your interested then put your names down biggrin.gif

now i'm really confused.... comp.gif wacko.gif

what the hell are we getting?...

i presumed we were getting the same stuff that Leighton sorted out originally ...which was backed material used on the seats...

Dogsbody... are you referring to the same company??... cos surely there can only be ONE company that has this one off shade that was used for our cars....

i don't want the thin unbacked stuff so count me out if this thread is for that....Allon whites said they cannot trim a wheel using this stuff as it rips when stretched tightly round the steering wheel...

This is the same stuff (white backing), but Boyriven have decided to sell off the old stock it would appear ohmy.gif
Chris is going to contact them for an updated price, and I'm just going to drive down and get what I want the next time I am going to Salisbury.
