Whenever i fill up i never look how much the garage are charging for unleaded so i could be using the most expensive petrol station.

Guess what i was!!! been paying 97.9 and if i go to Sainsbury's i will only pay 95.9.

I know its not much but it all helps!!

I am lucky in the south east - now pay 92.9 at local Shell and Sainsbury (only coz they are about 200 yards apart!). When I lived at Cranfield petrol was the same price as at Clacket Lane services on the M25! Talk about a rip-off!

i use that site too, u can set it so that it sends you weekly emails of the cheapest garages near you. you can save the odd few pence a litre if you shop around for it!

All my locals are selling at 99.9p, but the nearest Sainsburys is still something like 95.9. Problem is it's on the way to Folkestone and I don't travel that way too often
