i thought i had renewed my subs so i can waffle on to my hearts content

but keep gettign an e mail every month saying its about to expire and i need to renew

help - what have i done wrong????

Mmmm, I know...I'm quietly confident the paid subs on the site are up the creek without a paddle... Gonna have to look into this....

J, I've got a feeling that mine's not been getting paid too, as I've not spotted it on my recent bank statements.

I left the card I registered with Paypal at a petrol station 2 months ago

it was cancelled the same day.

I think, I'm gonna revert back to the manual way of processing subs. The automagic stuff on this forum was working brilliantly when we swapped over in March. Since then I've updated the site code along with the IPS updates, and something appears to have borked...

Having said that, if I do go totally manual, I might have to impose either bi-annual or annual payments. I really really really cannot be messing with monthly payments (way too much like hard work keeping track!)

What are peoples thoughts to this idea?

I got this last month.

It seems to work like this:
1) nearing the end of the month when that month's subscription is due to "expire" so it sends you an email that you need to do something.
2) The system deducts your next month's payment.
3) The system recognises that you've made a payment and thanks you for it.
4) Nearing the end of the following month, as that month's subscription is due to "expire".....

As this is only Â£15.24 a year or Â£7.62 every 6 months, then no, I would not have a problem with this.

I don't have a problem with paying once/twice a year either..... pain in the bum getting these "it's about to expire" / "new subscription" emails every month!

I don't mind either 1 year or 6 months. It went and completely cancelled mine I think

searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale
