Sorry cant make that one James I'm off to Llys y Fran for the hillclimb. If you have any further events in mind we could have a mini meet in the future at one of those.

With the drastic reversal of numbers it seems rescheduling is a better idea. After all as of last night there were only JoJo self and possibly yourself left so lets see if we can find a time more suitable to all.

James I ended up at Pembrey after all but couldn't let you know as the site was down. I agree with you that a meet there would be a good idea have you got any dates for Ford events later in the summer?
Dave
Not yet but I've posted an idea to James that Pembrey would be a good place to meet.

That's not far from me so that would be great I'm at various other shows, meets till June now though but at least it keeps the car clean

I hope James will be able to give some possible Pembrey events and I still think we ought to try to get Borth off the ground. Trouble is as we get more into the summer everyones weekend diaries seem to be filling up. Distance in Wales does also seem to be a problem once you get outside the M4 corridor in the south.

Sorry to say we are at the other end of Wales on the 29th. Are you by any chance coming over to Pembrey for any of the sprints later in the season V4 would like to meet Turby and find out whether he could have a go at this sprinting on the track.

Hi Dave,
Thats a shame, Turby won the class and I came second (out of 7) which I am well chuffed with We're not sure if we are doing Pembrey yet, we've got the regs for it, but haven't decided.
I used to take L5 sprinting before we built the turbo puma FRP sprinting. All you need is an MSA Non race national B licence (approx Å“30), a race suit which range from about Å“80 for a proban up to Å“500 + for a nomex, helmet that meets the MSA standards and front beam splitter. Apart from that the FRP is ready to go straight out on track Next event we are doing is down near Barnstable, Devon on 18th June (I think) then we'll be at Castle Combe on 1st July.
Have a look here www.msauk.org for more info, or drop us a pm.
cheers

Yep but for me would have to be early Sept as I'm ommited for all of August. I'm trying to work some dates to meet Rob (V8FRP) from Welshpool so maybe we could combine. Nice to be planning again lets hope this time we can make it work.
