Why do people constantly feel the need to hit my poor puma!!!!!! Twice in a year now :( luckly there not to bad. first one was from a postman trying too fit his van down a residential parking street. This time I return home from my parents house to see another scrape/chip in my rear bumper. Sorry had to have a bit of a vent.
Anyone recomend T-Cut to fix this eye sore?

Feel like wrapping my car in bubble wrap!

Thanks Hodds

hi

t cut will only remove scratches that arent too deep and not through to the primer, even then you have to be careful with it!

Work across the scratch, not along it and keep an eye on where youre polishing! going through the lacquer/paint to the primer is a real "Oh f£$%*^& B£&^$*()!" moment!

erm carplan do a chip stick, its like a very waxy lip stick but for cars...

you run it across the scratch and it fills it in, you just rub the excess off from around it. its goes with the approximate colour of your car, lasts about 5-10 washes, its pretty good.

the colour matching is reasonable, i mean my car is melina blue, i bought a blue stick and it blends rather nicely,

its a good temporary repair, anyways, enough of my rambling :D

Had new rear arrch's welded in, sills stripped and treated/refinished, doors blown over to match rear quarter/arches etc in December and i've already got a dent/scratch one side on the quarter and 3 further scratches/chips on the other side door from people not being able to open their car doors without smacking whatever is next to them. Makes you sick.

I hear that, every time I get my car washed at a hand carwash I notice a bunch of scratches that weren't there before. Last time took the biscuit though, it looks like someone has been at it with a brillo pad. They honestly couldn't have done more damage if they were trying. I'd had cars keyed before which came out better than that. Time for a long weekend with Tcut.
