Went to Shakespere County Raceway, not far from me at Long Marston nr Stratford upon avon, last weekend.
First time down the 1/4 mile strip in 15 years, i was pursuaded to have a go by some blokes in a ford club, lined up for my car to be checked over, then number written on back window, sign in and pay £20 and on to the runup lanes i went. tongue.gif

My Renault 11 Turbo that i had when i last hit the quarter, was running around 170 bhp and i managed a time of 15.4 secs, first run in my Puma and it was 16.9 secs, had a few more goes and best was 16.7 secs, running on 17's at std pressure, frp chip, KnN panel filter in std airbox, was great fun and i will be back next time to see if i can do better. biggrin.gif

My Time was similar to the V6 cougars and ST170 focus, so i am happy....... for the moment cool.gif

Cheers, Tim

Would it be worth putting the old 15" back on, as that would improve the straight line acceration maybe?
