Racer25 will hopefully be speaking with Kevin Shortis of Ford Racing UK at the racing car show NEC wednesday so get get some more info on the Puma Cup,will post his comments when we have them.

just as a warning to anyone thinking about cheep motorsport, it does not exsist! the £5K quoted will not be enough by a long shot. sadly when you price up all the bits you need you forget all the extra small parts that all add up. I have built stock hatch cars on a tight budget but you wont be competitive as some one will turn up who has built a car properly and wipe the floor with everyone else, i would guess that to build a good racing 1.7 would cost you £10K plus!

but saying that, i do have a 1.7 and race car experiance so if it happends i will see you on the grid!
