have not gave the bay a good clean since before last show season so thought id spend a couple of few hours this weekend doing it as i needed to change and do a few bits anyway, and im not driving it at the mo as its been driving me mad the last two weekends (more later lol).

idle control valve changed, throttle position sensor changed for the second time in a week (more on that later), airbox removed, filter cleaned and reoiled. and also refilled the screw holes and made good as 3 of the screws would not tighten anymore. engine cover bolts changed as i had a mixture of different ones (thanks colin ).

come out rather bloody nice smile.gif

(ed don't mention my bonnet alarm pin, i know the shroud is broken lol).

not too bad, don't have to bother doing it till next summer now too lol.

you missed the flies wink.gif they are a mess on your rad
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

lol you know what i tried getting them all out but they kept getting further in so i gave up, didn't want to damage the elements either, i think there is a proper rad brush you can buy??

alot of that which looks like flies in the second pic is damage from stones hitting the rad, its the actual elements that have bent.

Thats looking really good..

I gave my engine a very quick wipe around today, noticed the air box cover was loose, same as yours the screws dont appear to grip, what did you use to fill the holes, to make new threads?
